Well I really wanted to love this place after all the reviews but after taking a bite into a burger I thought I was going to enjoy, that wasn’t the case. I’m ordering a burger not a good steak this needs to be cooked through and through. Worst part about this was that my wife’s was cooked the same way. $30 down the drain just like that. *Update : Robert reached out to send a refund for the snafoo today and appreciated his message. ** second update see secondary photo : when back to try a burger and Jesse knocked it out of the park. Such a great burger from this spot. If they change up their fries this is a 12/10 combo.

Don't pass this place up because its in a gas station. They make some killer food. I got The Torch Burger, despite the name its only mildly spicy but very good and the smoked wings are great too. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

This place rules! I accidentally messed up making my online order and didn't double check it. (I accidentally ordered no pulled pork on the gold rush somehow). As I was on my way there to pick it up, they called me to make sure I had ordered it correctly. They remade the burger to what I actually wanted with no issue. Iron Ranch Kitchen definitely cares about the customer and their food experience. Will be going back again and again. Get the Gold Rush on sourdough!

I had an amazing experience at Iron Ranch Kitchen! I had a torta with Tripas and it was made to order with an awesome suggestion from the lady who took my order. My meal was huge and I didn’t think I could finish it, but the torta was so good I couldn’t stop myself and ate the whole thing and am STUFFED. Check this place out and have something delicious to eat!

Came across Iron Ranch Kitchen when searching for a burger near the VA and now I gotta figure out if it’s easier to just move south to be closer or just schedule weekly VA appointments to get my fill. Staff: Super friendly and welcoming. They could tell we were first timers and told us how to navigate the ordering process. They even reviewed my receipt and brought me fries that I forgot I ordered. Food: 10/10. Perfectly seasoned. Not gimmicky with their specialty burgers either. Each ingredient has its moment and doesn’t overpower the flavor of beef. Juicy patty, fresh veggies, and just that right amount of grease The seasoned fries round it all out. Crispy and fluffy perfection. Price: Yall. These prices will make you think you stepped into a Time Machine and into 2001. 1 Specialty burger (The Torch) combo and 1 Everday Value combo was only 20 bucks!! On top of that they offer a military and first responders discount! Don’t come here expecting IG cutesy aesthetic. Come here and be mindful of the men and women on their lunch breaks wanting to grab a good bite to eat and take a load off. Top of my list best burger in Austin. Stop buying into the hype of those overpriced and underseasoned places and come get you a real burger.

We were craving some tacos so we finally decided to stop by this newer place. The customer before us went there for just for the carnitas, lemme tell you... these Carnitas were bomb! best I've had in this area for sure, had a couple tacos there and couldn't resist, we had to grab some to go too. The Al Pastor tacos were on point too, flavor was awesome and meat juicy. Salsa's were ok. So glad we stopped in to try this place. Pat welcomed us in, super friendly guy, treated us like fam all whilst multitasking on orders and cooking. Mari Chuy was kind and accommodating as well, can't wait to try their burgers and breakfast. This is a gas station so it's gas station vibe as expected but Pats' service to his customers is better than most restaurants, and they have tables and chairs to grub out while the food is hot n ready. They also do online orders too. The prices are fair, overall A+ for this place. We'll be back.
